Nicole is the founder and creative lead of McConnell Design. She developed an appreciation early on for antiques and home design by growing up antiquing with her mom and aunt. Nicole offers a fresh approach to decorating homes of today with her talent for seamlessly blending old and new. 

As Head of Design. Rose leads all of McConnell Design’s interior design projects while expanding the studio’s trade program. She has years of experience from top design firms and owning a woodwork studio, blending strong project management and business acumen with a deep understanding of interiors and client needs. Outside of work, you can find Rose on runs around downtown SF where she resides.

Yisela is the Shop Manager and welcoming face of the studio’s retail space. Having grown up in Marin, she brings a deep local connection alongside her warmth. Known for her sweet nature, Yisela oversees daily shop operations while creating a positive, inviting experience for customers and clients.

Pete and Ellen are Nicole’s parents and constant supporters. From the very beginning, they generously jumped right in on Nicole’s ideas for her new business. They are still integral members of the McConnell Design team. You will see them everywhere from the French Market to customer pickups.
