18th Century French Provincial Sideboard

Crafted in solid, wide plank pine in the Southwest of France. This sideboard features a single drawer above two paneled cabinet doors, adorned with hand-forged iron pulls and hinges that speak to its 200 year old history. Subtle carved detailing along the apron and door panels adds softness and movement, while the warm patina highlights the natural grain and character of the wood.

A versatile piece, equally at home in a dining room or kitchen, for linen storage, as an entry statement, or anchoring a living space.

• Dimensions:  48.5" W x 23.25" D x 38" H 

• Condition: good antique condition. Wallpaper added to interior at an earlier date. This was commonly added to furniture interiors in the 19th and early 20th century. An interior shelf appears to have been added at a later time but could be easily removed if preferred.
