Vintage Art Deco Style European Plates | Set of 4

A rare and beautiful collection of vintage plates featuring an early Art Deco–influenced design. Delicate floral bouquets in shades of coral, lavender, and blue-green are framed by a striking geometric border in ochre and black, creating an unusual balance of traditional and early Art Deco style.

Believed to have been produced in Europe as undecorated blanks for an independent decorating studio, where the distinctive pattern would have been applied. We have not encountered another example of this particular design, making these an especially lovely find for a collected table.

Available in dinner and luncheon sizes, each sold as a set of four. Luncheon size can also be used as dinner plates.

• Dimensions: Dinner plates: 10.5" diameter; Luncheon plates: 9.5" diameter

• Condition: Good vintage condition. Some wear to the gilt rims, as pictured and consistent with age and use. One luncheon plate shows some additional aging as pictured.
