Vintage English Pub Ashtray

An oversized vintage ceramic pub ashtray sourced in the English countryside, made as an advertising piece for Flowers Ales. Finished in a rich ochre glaze with graphic black detailing and the brewery's distinctive Shakespeare emblem. Mid-20th century England.

Originally made for the English pub, today it makes a distinctive catchall for keys or matches, a bedside dish for jewelry, or an unexpected soap dish in a guest bath.
